Brand Radar listens to news about specific companies on the internet, using custom-made social media listening tools. We listen out for messages about particular companies.
We then analyse the messages we get, the amount of messages we get and the frequency with which they occur. Most of all, we are interested in the relevant content originating in these messages. There are genuine messages and irrelevant messages, which is of particular importance right now as a growing percentage of contemporary material generated on the internet is at best promotional; and at worst, spam.
We then run the messages through our own proprietary programmes. Traditional analysis has had difficulty in achieving acceptable levels of accuracy. Our newer methods look to deliver more useful results.
